Owner and founder Ryan Hagenston has personally overseen or executed inspections for almost every type of home imaginable, ranging from multimillion dollar equestrian estates to luxury condominiums in Washington, DC, to historic single family homes in the Virginia suburbs, he’s seen it all. He is a proud member of InterNACHI®, which is the world’s leading association for home inspectors. Ryan is a DC, Maryland, and Virginia licensed home inspector.
In addition to extensive home inspection service experience, Ryan is a licensed REALTOR® in the state of Virginia. This makes him well versed in both the nuances of the home inspection business, as well as the real estate purchase and sale processes. He’s also able to use his own SentriLock to open up houses, should agents be delayed or unable to attend the home inspection.
Prior to starting Red Star Home Inspection LLC (sometimes known as: Red Star LLC), Ryan lead the construction on a number of commercial and residential real estate projects throughout the United States. This experience allows him to have been part of the full cycle of real estate - from permitting, to building, to inspection, and even facilitating final sales and contracts. No matter the task, Ryan is proud to provide excellent service from start to finish.
When he’s not working, you can find him enjoying many of the local activities the region is known for, such as visiting local vineyards and restaurants. He is a longtime resident of Western Loudoun County and loves the countryside, people, and lifestyle that the area provides.
